SPEED

We do not claim speed. We let you watch it.

This page carries no preloader and loads no library from anybody else’s server. That is why its heading reaches the screen almost seven times faster than the previous version did. Below are both measured figures and instructions for repeating the measurement yourself, on any site.

This page589 ms

The previous version of this very site3276 ms

What is measured is the moment the page heading is actually visible. · The second bar is not somebody else’s site. It is our own, as it stood until 11 September 2026: with a preloader counting a fake percentage and three libraries pulled from a third-party server. Both figures were measured the same day on a Pixel 7, 1.6 Mb/s connection, processor slowed four times.

How to check it yourself

Open pagespeed.web.dev, paste any address and read the “Largest Contentful Paint” row. Do the same for ours. It takes a minute and costs nothing.

DEMO SITES

Three finished sites. Open them and try them.

These are invented businesses — a restaurant, a salon and a dental practice — built in our own design. They are not clients and they do not exist. They are here so you can see how a finished site looks and behaves before you commit: menu, price list, gallery, booking, contact.

All three work on a phone and without JavaScript, like every site we deliver. The photographs are licensed; every name, figure and review is invented.

ITEM BY ITEM

What you actually get when you order a site

This is a delivery list, not a list of promises. Every item can be checked on the finished site, the day it is handed over.

01 What you receive

  • Each package states a page count, and every one of those pages is a real page with its own address, title and text.
  • We cut, shape and set your own copy so it fits the design, but we never invent it or pad it out.
  • Your photos get cropped, colour-matched and rebuilt in three sizes, one each for phone, tablet and desktop.
  • Your menu, offer or price list is typed out item by item from what you send, then checked a second time by fresh eyes.
  • The site can carry several languages, each on its own address with text actually written for it, never machine-translated.
  • Forms are built only if you ask for them; by default you get call, Viber, WhatsApp and e-mail buttons instead.
  • If your logo exists only as a picture, we trace it into a vector that stays sharp on any screen and in print.

02 How it gets built

  • The code is written for your site; we do not buy a template and swap its colours.
  • Colours are measured out of your own material — a facade, a sign, a plate, a work jacket — so each one has a source we can point to.
  • Before a direction is chosen we render several versions using YOUR photos, then look at which one actually carries them.
  • Your material decides the design: if the photos are dark and vertical, the site is built around that rather than against it.
  • Nothing loads from someone else's server — fonts, icons and scripts live on your site, so an outage elsewhere cannot take it down.
  • Unconfirmed facts stay off the site: if two sources give different opening hours, we publish none until you tell us which is right.
  • Stock photography is never used in place of your rooms, your food and your people.

03 What gets measured before handover

  • Speed is measured on a phone with a throttled processor, not on a desktop over a fast line.
  • We measure how many megabytes a phone downloads for the first screen and shrink images until that number drops below one.
  • Text-to-background contrast is measured by script on every page and has to pass WCAG AA before handover.
  • The site opens with JavaScript switched off: text, menu and images stay visible and clickable.
  • Every page is opened at nine screen widths, from 320 to 1920 pixels, and nothing is allowed to spill off-screen.
  • No photo is ever shown larger than it was shot, so nothing turns soft on a big screen.
  • The browser console has to come back empty: no errors, no image that fails to load, no dead link.

04 What maintenance covers

  • We keep the hosting and the SSL certificate running, so the site loads over https with no browser warning.
  • Small changes — a phone number, opening hours, one new item — are done the same or the next working day.
  • A new version goes live only after it passes the same checks; if it fails, the old one simply stays up.
  • A full backup of the site sits in two places and does not depend on the hosting.
  • Speed and links are measured after launch too, so we tell you about a fault before a customer runs into it.
  • A new design, new pages or a new language is not maintenance but new work, agreed separately.

05 What search engines see

  • Every page carries its own title and description; none of them repeats the title of another page.
  • The site ships with sitemap.xml and robots.txt, so a crawler knows what to index and what to skip.
  • Business data goes into schema.org — address, phone, activity — with opening hours and ratings included only when confirmed.
  • When we replace an old site, every old address is redirected to the new one so you keep what search engines already indexed.
  • Every image gets a description in the language of the page, readable by search engines and by screen readers alike.

06 What stays yours

  • The domain is registered in your name and your e-mail; you are the owner, not us.
  • If we stop working together, the site is handed over in full, with nothing to rebuild: no lock-in and no licence you must keep paying.
  • The photos and text you hand over stay yours; we never resell them or reuse them on another site.
  • Every processed photo also comes back at full size, so you can use it on social media and in print.

07 After it goes live

  • The site goes live only after you open it on your own phone and say it is right.
  • You get the full pre-handover measurement list, with numbers, so you can check every claim yourself.
  • You also get a list of open questions — facts we could not confirm — for you to confirm or correct.
  • For the first month we fix anything you report as a fault, however many times you report it.
  • You request a change in one sentence and get back a link to review before anything goes live.

Services we do not offer

  • We do not write your copy for you: if there is none, you get a list of questions and you answer them.
  • We do not shoot photography: we do not turn up with a camera or arrange a shoot of your space, food or staff.
  • We do not promise the top spot on Google; we do the technical work that can be measured, and nobody controls the ranking itself.
  • We do not run your social media and we do not write posts or ads.
HOW WE WORK

From a blank page to a live site. This animation runs on its own.

Nothing to click, nothing to scroll. Five steps cycle by themselves: structure, layout, content, brand and launch.

01

Structure

We write clean HTML: header, heading, sections, footer. Not a single library.

02

Layout

We place the blocks where the eye lands first, before any image goes in.

03

Content

Your text, your prices and your photographs go in. Nothing is bought from a stock library.

04

Brand

We measure your colours out of your logo or your photographs. None of them is a guess.

05

Launch

The site goes live on your domain. From that moment it is yours.

The colours in step 04 are an example for the trade. On your site we measure them from your logo or your photographs.

This preview is a drawing in motion, not a screenshot of somebody else’s site. Three finished sites are open to you. Open the demo site →

SERVICES

What we do and what it means for you.

01

Websites

One page or many. Written by hand, so they open quickly even on a weak phone.

02

Online shops

Cart and online payment. Built to fit, never from a template.

03

Search visibility

So people find you when they search “service + town”. Included in every package.

04

Redesign

We turn a dated site into a current one. All your text and images come across intact.

05

Booking and menus

Online reservations, appointments and digital menus — for restaurants and clinics.

06

Maintenance

Hosting, domain, SSL and edits. You run your business, we look after the site.

We build multilingual sites routinely. The largest so far runs in seven languages.

PACKAGES

Four sizes of job. The price is made to fit.

A package says how big the job is, not what it costs. We build the price around what you actually need, and you get it in writing before anything starts, itemised.

The domain is always registered in your name. Yearly maintenance covers hosting, the SSL certificate and small edits.

GUARANTEES

Every promise here says what happens if we break it.

A promise with no consequence is advertising, not a guarantee. So each one below carries the consequence we accept.

An answer the same working day

We reply to calls and messages the same working day.

If we failIf we have not replied by the end of the next working day, your first renewal year is free.

A 72-hour deadline

Simpler sites are finished 72 hours after the work starts.

If we failIf we miss it through our own fault, the first year of maintenance is free and we still finish the site.

The site is yours

The domain is registered in your name, not ours.

If we failNo lock-in: if we stop working together, the site is handed over with nothing to rebuild and the domain stays yours.

The price does not move

The figure agreed before we start is the figure on the invoice.

If we failAny difference we did not agree in advance is ours to absorb.
QUESTIONS

What people ask us most.

How long does it take?

Simpler sites are finished 72 hours after the work starts. For larger sites we agree the deadline in advance and it forms part of the quote.

How is the price worked out?

From the size of the job: how many pages, how much material has to be transcribed, and which functions you need. You get the quote in writing, itemised, before anything starts.

What do I pay in later years?

Yearly maintenance only: hosting, the SSL certificate, the domain and small edits to text and images. You know the figure in advance and it does not move without agreement.

Who owns the site in the end?

You do. The domain is registered in your name and your details, and if we stop working together the site is handed over with nothing to rebuild.

Do you build sites in several languages?

Yes, routinely. The largest so far runs in seven languages, each with its own address.

Does the site work on a phone?

We measure every site on a phone before it goes live — speed, readability, and that nothing spills past the edge of the screen.

How is it paid?

A smaller part up front, the balance before the site goes live. Two or three instalments are possible by agreement.
